OK, so I've been trying to use my hotmail / msn instant messenger mobile messenger for weeks now with the same results every time. When I try to text a message to someone's phone number from my hotmail IM, I get the following response, "This message was not sent because Mobile Messaging is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Later??? How much later??? I've been waiting for weeks. I know this is a sporatic problem that has happened in the past, but it's been this way for at least a month now. Does anyone know why? Has anyone heard my Microsoft / MSN has not fixed this or what they have to say about the problem?
MSN / Hotmail Messenger Mobile Messaging is temporarily unavailable?
That's EXACTLY what happened to me! I keep trying to IM my friends who are on their phone, but it comes up with the same message. Sometimes it would work but after a while it'd just do that stupid system message thingy.

Reply:I have been having the same problem... trying to msg my friends from my computer and it is driving me NUTS!
Reply:It's an error affecting everyone, apparently. Google it and you'll find hundreds of sites on it.
I found the following on the Microsoft forum:

Looks like it's frustrating everyone else just as much as you! Unsure if Microsoft have commented, but it's unlikely - they don't seem to care about the huge faults and security gaps in their flawed OS's...so I doubt they'll have much sympathy for those who can't message on MSN!
