I just signed up to have a hotmail account,because I had a Yahoo account,but my Yahoo account locked me out! So,I signed up for a hotmail in case Yahoo does it again. I have signed up for other accounts such as AIM,AOL,Gmail,etc.but none of them seem to satisfy me...so I signed up for hotmail,and I LOVE it!!! But,the thing is...how do I know if my friends are online,and how do I IM people??? Please give me step-by-step instructions if you know!
Hotmail instant messenger???
just type msn.com and on that page there is a thing on the left that says messenger. click it, then click download, or the join now. Just follow the steps and it will install msn messenger.
Reply:well you have to have a windows messenger version, when you first joined, you have to sign up for the windows version to!
Reply:if u have msn messenger then in ur contact list(friends list) it will either be coloured in green for online or red for offline sometimes it no colour also for offline.or u can just drag ur mouse to one of ur friends and it will have in brakets online or offline. or u can always ring them and ask them. hope this helps.
