My friend says that she can use y! messenger to chat with people that are using hotmail. Is this true? My Y! messenger is disabled so I don't know...

Yes it is true just add them as a contact making sure to use the @hotmail.com or @msn.com.
Reply:Yes it's true, you can chat too hotmail contacts. However some features may be disabled in chatting. Also hotmail can't log onto Yaho messenger if that makes any sense.
