Why can I no long go from my Windows Live Messenger to my email account (Hotmail) when I click on that icon?

this just hapened. I used to be able to move easily from my Windows Live Messenger to my hotmail account just by clicking on the icon at the top of the Live Messenger....something happened....now I can't....what gives? how do i fix this....I would like to move back and forth easily as I once did.....HELP!!!

Did you install a new internet browser? If yes, reinstall that one. If not, reinstall the one you're using. Manuals how to do that:
