Which email providers allow you to sign into MSN messenger. (Other than hotmail).?

I was wondering which emails could be used in order to sign into MSN messenger. For example a yahoo mail ID doesn't work. Yet I have seen some people on MSN with non-hotmail emails. Does anyone know where to find a list of the 'does work's' and the 'doesn't work's'?

You can use any e-mail provider you like. Go to www.Passport.Net, and create an account there, using the e-mail address that you got from the "whatever" e-mail provider you like. Then you can sign on MSN with it, using the password you created on Passport.NET .. *not* your actual e-mail's password. Keep that in mind. But, it would be easier to have the same password for both, then again, you can do whatever you like =) ..





(FYI: Gmail doesn't require you to create a Passport account thing. But I dunno about other e-mail services..)





When you go to that website, look under "Sign up today", and click on the link that's under "Use an e-mail address you already have".

you can use other accounts if you want to use MSN .. you just have to create a LIVE ID.. anyway some of them are not compatible ..(I think AOL is not)

'use an existing mail'


'create a hotmail account'


just use the first one


complete the form


and that's it
